Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC), the world leader in crowd management and event security, will provide event services for the 2015 World Meeting of Families and Papal Visit, September 22-27, where Pope Francis will visit Philadelphia during his first trip to the United States as Pope. Established in 1994, The World Meeting of Families is an international event of prayer, catechesis, and celebration, and this year marks the first time that it will be hosted in the United States. The 8th World Meeting of Families, which is expected to draw more than 1.5 million people, has three central events, including the World Meeting of Families Congress, The Festival of Families and The Papal Mass.
Pope Francis will attend the Festival of Families on Saturday, September 26 and hold the Papal Mass on Sunday, September 27 to conclude the 2015 World Meeting of Families. Both of these events will take place at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.
CSC Philadelphia will provide services including ushering, access control, and crowd management under the direction of Scott Mirkin, Co-founder and Executive Producer, ESM Productions, and Bianca Bethel, Production Coordinator, ESM Productions. CSC has also worked closely with the World Meeting of Families’ Director of Security, Andy Wurst, Event Security Director, John Langenstein, and Security Consultant, Mike Brennan.
CSC Philadelphia also provides event services to Lincoln Financial Field, PPL Park, Dover International Speedway, Pennsylvania Convention Center, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, Saint Joseph’s University, Temple University, Lehigh University, and the University of Delaware.
