I have been a member of the CSC Washington D.C. family since 1996. At that time, I had no idea I was joining such an exceptional organization. Providing crowd management services…
It’s such an exciting time of the year when the U.S. Open rolls around. Providing a safe and friendly environment for over 700,000 guests from all over the world is quite a task, but the training and guidance we get from our branch and clients alike, is second to none. It makes me proud to be a part of Team CSC.
CSC New York City Supervisor
I have been a member of the CSC Washington D.C. family since 1996. At that time, I had no idea I was joining such an exceptional organization. Providing crowd management services had never crossed my mind; this was something new to me and I was willing to give it my best. Being an avid sports fan, I said why not and started as an "Event Staffer". I enjoy the different venues I am exposed to as well as the diversity of guests and I love creating memories in a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests. CSC has a great working relationship with many organizations including the NFL, MLB, MLS, NBA, NHL and a host of others. We provide top-notch service with an array of event staffers, supervisors and managers. CSC is my family away from family and I can say the same about some of my guests. I have many season tickets holders who seek me out at every venue. They say just knowing I'm there gives them joy. When CSC noticed my hard work, dependability and leadership qualities, I was promoted to a Supervisor and shortly thereafter to an Event Manager. I have had the privilege to work with other CSC branches during my tenure, which afforded me the ability to work with some other CSC superstars. I now show others the path to success in a still growing organization well worth working for.
CSC Washington D.C. Event Manager
I come to you with my testimony of employment five years ago coming this August 2015. I remember the day so clearly that my mother-in-law and wife stated to me that CSC was hiring part-time employees for the Georgia Dome Security. I looked up Contemporary Services Corporation and read the story of how Damon Zumwalt started the company in 1967, and read how he envisioned running the company. During my interview, I talked about my prior managerial experience and stated that my purpose was to work as apart-time yellow jacket employee, and my interviewer instantly told me they wanted me as a Supervisor. I still remember my first big event at the University of Georgia. Through the seasons, I always stayed the course on doing what's right by policy and procedures and later received "Employee of the Year". My most recent accomplishment was in 2015 just after my Annual Review from Event Manager's Brad and Shane where I was promoted to OS for the Lower Level and anywhere else I'm needed. I wish to say thank you CSC for the awesome experience and support you have given me through my years here and those to come.
CSC Atlanta Area Director
A day at CSC is always different because you are not always at the same venue. One day you may work at an award show, the next a basketball game or even a concert. The company offers great benefits and trainings to advance your skills. One of the best advantages of working for CSC is that you get to choose your own work schedule. I’ve been working here for a little over a year now and I can say this is a job you can keep for a lifetime. I have met so many wonderful people along the way and the working environment is never dull, no matter what venue you are working. If you are a college student or someone looking for a second job as myself, this is a really good company. It really does work around your schedule. I highly recommend working for CSC. You won’t be disappointed.
CSC Miami Event Security Guard
I started working for CSC in June of 1996. I worked as an usher and ticket taker for baseball and football and quickly realized that I needed my security license in order to have more work opportunities. With my security license, the sky was the limit. I was able to work any event that was available, and I worked many exceptional events. I have worked at both of the Marlins World Series, two of the Super Bowls that were hosted by Miami, the NHL All-Star Game, PGA events, and numerous concerts. Additionally, I’ve had the opportunity to work in the office to assist with scheduling employees and interviewing potential employees. I’ve really enjoyed my years with CSC and have recommended many people who were looking for part-time employment, including family members.
CSC Miami Supervisor
I have been with CSC since 2005 when this branch opened. I became a Supervisor shortly after I was hired. I love working big festivals, concerts, state wrestling, ISU football and more. One thing I love about this job is the friends that you make, and also helping people. Working at CSC has opened my eyes up to all the different things that go on before, during, and after shows or events.
