CSC has been providing services in Stockton, California since 2005. The branch’s first client was for the newly opened arena at the Stockton Events Center. The Arena is the home of the California Cougars Major Indoor League Soccer Team, the Stockton Thunder Minor League Hockey Team, and the Stockton Lightning Arena Football Team.
On Friday, December 2, 2005, the Stockton Arena celebrated a grand opening for the entire community. The Downtown Stockton Alliance, the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce, the San Joaquin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the African-American Chamber of Commerce and the Asian-American Chamber of Commerce presented a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Arena is a four-level, 10,134-fixed-seat multi-purpose facility with an event floor of 30,000 square feet. The approximate size of the arena is 244,160 gross square feet. A club level includes 14-20 luxury boxes.
CSC works under the supervision of SMG who was selected as the facility operator and manager for the Arena. CSC is responsible for the event security for special events, concerts, and other entertainment acts that occupy the building.
Since 2006, CSC has been the crowd management provider for the weekend long Asparagus Festival, which draws over 100,000 festival visitors annually.
CSC also provides crowd management and security services for the Lodi 12 and Stockton Cinemas movie theaters, operated by Atlas Properties and the Stockton Civic Auditorium.
Recently, CSC became a partner with the Sacramento Mountain Lions, a member of the UFL. CSC Stockton will proudly provide crowd control and guest services for the team, beginning with their first home game on Sept. 17th at Sacramento State University.
CSC Stockton is also proud to announce that it will be the service provider for the annual Lodi Grape Festival in 2011 for the first time.
